South Florida women-focused counseling practice opens a new location to increase access to therapy and family support services.
Coral Springs- March 1, 2026-
Empowered Woman LLC, a women-centered mental health practice founded in 2020, has expanded its services with the opening of a new counseling location in Coral Springs, Florida. The practice, originally established in West Boca Raton, was created in response to growing demand for mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued to grow as more individuals seek accessible therapy services.
The Coral Springs office will be led by Amy Del Barrio, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Del Barrio has been part of the Empowered Woman since the Boca Raton location opened in 2022 and will now offer in-person services at the new Coral Springs location located at 7684 Wiles Road, Coral Springs, FL, 33067.
Empowered Woman LLC is a group practice made up of women clinicians committed to supporting the community through its three core pillars: Empowerment, Engagement, and Education. Services include individual therapy, couples counseling, group therapy, support groups, parenting groups, and educational workshops.

Del Barrio brings particular expertise in supporting women and mothers throughout the prenatal and postpartum journey. As a mother herself, she has extensive experience working with families navigating the emotional and relational changes that accompany parenthood. She is also trained in breastfeeding support skills and the Healthy Families curriculum, allowing her to offer holistic guidance for parents during early childhood development.
“I’m passionate about helping individuals and families feel supported during some of the most meaningful and challenging transitions in life,” said Del Barrio. “Opening this Coral Springs location allows us to reach more women and families who deserve compassionate, accessible mental care.”
Del Barrio provides therapy in both English and Spanish, and offers evening and Saturday morning appointments to better accommodate families. The practice accepts most major commercial insurance plans as well as private pay options.
The Coral Springs office is now accepting new clients beginning March 1, 2026.
